Living in Kolkata – a city three times the population of my country – in this dense and chaotic community, is an antithesis to the experience of the world I have known to date.  Should you have the time and the inclination, I am grateful to be able to share with you some of the musings that this brutal and beautiful place provokes, and the images and stories it affords.
